About Conder Flags
Conder Flag began in the 1940's in Charlotte, NC as Conder's
Soda Shop on West Trade Street. Carson Conder, the founder,
began selling flags as a novelty. During the early 1960’s the
flag business grew particularly due to the addition of Alaska
and Hawaii to the United States.
In the 1970's Mr. Conder made the change to selling flags
exclusively, thus the name Conder Flag Company. In 1982, Mr.
Conder's son-in-law, Ernie Creech, purchased the business. Under
Mr. Creech's leadership Conder Flag has steadily grown nearly
every year. In January of 2005 Conder Flag moved to a new 30,000
square foot location next door to our previous facility.
Conder Flag is a major distributor of all types of flags
including U.S., State, International and Historical flags. We
also sell and install all types of flagpoles for commercial and
residential use. Custom flags and banners are our specialty. We
utilize all types of fabrics as well as state-of-the-art
processes in our flag and banner production.
