The Challenge:

Winthrop needed to brand and identify key buildings, while emphasizing its international connections. The university also needed to incorporate its athletics brand in the university's baseball stadium.

The Solution:

Conder Flag installed a variety of colorful Winthrop University banners on lamp posts across the campus, as well as banners on several campus exterior walls with the marketing tagline: "Live. Learn. Lead." To underscore the university's global ties, Conder aptly installed 56 flags from various alumni home countries along Alumni Drive. At the baseball stadium, Conder added 35-foot flagpoles in front of the press box, flying double-sided flags emblazoned with the institution's eagle head logo.
