Eagle Scout Flagpole Project In Full Swing

William Fitzgerald, a 14-year old Charlotte Scout from Troop 63 is working on his Eagle project and is going to place a 40′ pole at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church on Beatties Ford Road. William visited Conder Flag last week to see his pole and to set up logistics. William is going to stake out the pole location, select the stones for the identification podium and consult with concrete experts about building a square base around the pole. He and his peers will also clean and dress the pole for installation. The pole will be up by late August just in time for the Baptist Convention. Conder Flag is very excited about helping this young man complete this inspirational and patriotic plan.
